We can’t believe it’s been a month already since we picked up Cutter, our new chocolate lab puppy. Since he’s going to be Mike’s shop dog, Mike thought Cutter would be a fitting name for him. He’s already become part of the household and is getting along well with Robbie, Skye and the cats. You forget about the extra time involved keeping an eye out for them and trying to watch the clock for potty breaks. He’s doing well though. Knock on wood – we haven’t had an accident in the house for 3 weeks now. Cutter’s one of the family and definitely has our number! Here he is with Robbie as his pillow. This coming Saturday (July 25), we’ll be taking another family member to their first upcoming shows. Scotty – our 1938 Chevy Coupe – will be going to the Sunriver Classic Car Show in the Sunriver Village mall. Scotty is a survivor car with the straight six engine that still runs. Mike has had fun working on Scotty. Fortunately, the coupe really didn’t require much effort to get it running. We plan to keep it original with just a few changes like upholstery repair. Friends Brett and Dana put an “extra shine” on Scotty for us last year.

On Saturday, August 1, we will again be in the Sunriver Village mall for the annual Sunriver Quilt Show. We’ll have our Pop-Up set up for the day and have some new items for sale. So, plan to join us if you’re in the area. We’d love to see you!
